About Capital Traffic
Established in 2006, Capital Traffic provide end-to-end traffic management, planning and design services. We still cater for small businesses but have grown considerably since we began, having worked with many local authorities, housing associations, developers, major companies such as Amey and Bam Nuttall and large utility and telecommunications businesses.
We also provide traffic management services for events. If your event is a charitable event, please talk to us about our charity rates.
Capital’s staff have extensive experience in all aspects of highway and transportation planning and design, drawn from some of the most highly regarded consulting practices in the United Kingdom. Most have spent part of their career working in highway and transportation departments of local authorities. This means that, in addition to the technical aspects of highway engineering, we have a thorough understanding of local authority procedures for highway works.
Capital Traffic started life as a family-run firm and we still maintain the same personal service ethos today to all our clients – large or small. We combine the responsiveness of a small business, with the experience and professionalism that comes with working with large multinational companies. We will do our best to meet even the most challenging of deadlines.
Qualifications & Certifications
Our traffic management planners, operatives and supervisors are trained to National Highway Sector Scheme 12 (NHSS 12).
Road safety audit staff are all Highways England certified (Certificate of Competence).
We are fully insured and hold £10m public liability and employers insurance. All our design work is covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance.
